A few months ago, I wrote a sponsored post about a new electric toothbrush, the Oral-B Pro-Health 3000. I wanted to jump out here and let you guys know that...
I REALLY LOVE MY ORAL B TOOTHBRUSH!!
This is not a sponsored post. I am not getting paid to write or share this and probably no one from my ad network or the brand will see this. (I'm purposely not going to hype it up because this is coming directly from my heart to you)
That toothbrush is freaking phenomenal! Real talk... no shade. I love it completely. I talk about this toothbrush all the time (yeah... I know that's corny but hey... so am I). So, if you're wondering why I'm telling you this... it's because I honestly love it. And the fact that I honestly love it made me want to explain my approach to earning money via this blog.
My integrity matters and I am honest with you
This blog is my love. My heart. And it's my business. So I have ads posted on my site and within my posts. I use affiliate links to earn commissions and when possible, I write sponsored posts. All of these methods are part of the way that I monetize my blog and earn a living. However, I don't write about things I don't believe in and I won't support products that I don't trust or that I think you won't like. That's my word.
In the coming months, you'll notice some changes in what I share here and how I share it. All of these changes are part of me changing my life to suit the vision and dreams in my head. I want to live, really LIVE, the most fabulous life possible. I firmly believe that "your gift will feed you"... and this blog and my writing is part of my gift. I choose to use the gifts that I feel God gave me in order to sustain myself and live the life I really want.
In a few weeks, I'm planning to launch some really interesting programs that I think you'll like. I hope you'll like. Because I get so many questions about blogging and making a living from doing this. And also because I'm a believer that we all can use our pain to propel us into our future. Breast cancer stole a lot from me, but there are lessons there for me to embrace and there is value in that pain. It wasn't for nothing that I went through all of that.
I've been studying other bloggers and other businesspeople that I admire and man... there are some folks out here who are simply doing the damn thing. And then one day it hit me... well, hell... I'm doing the damn thing too. I just need to tweak it and upgrade it. But MY way... so we're about to launch into the universe.
I'm a beast!
Ha, ha. Laughing but serious... I'm a beast. I beat stage 3 breast cancer. So... tell me what can't I do? I'll wait.
I'll have a second e-book coming out very soon. And then I'm going to start holding live google hangouts and webinars too. Eek! Nervous but excited. So many people have asked me (and told me) to get on camera and talk directly to you guys. And since I sort of hate the telephone (really, I do) and I can't text message all of you... live video chats and recorded webinars are where I'm heading.
Get excited! I am.
So... that said... I love that toothbrush. I do. I'm sharing this with you because well... teeth matter, good oral hygiene is a real thing and it's necessary. And this multi-speed phenomenon is great! My teeth feel awesome all the time.
If I can get this hyped about a toothbrush, can you imagine the greatness out there in the whole wide world that I can get even more excited about?
Stay tuned! Let me know in the comments what sort of things you'd like to see from me. Let's see what types of magic we can create this year.
Oooh... before I forget... please, please sign up for the email newsletter. I promise I won't spam you or crowd up your inbox. (I have major inbox issues so I'm uber sensitive to this) But I want to be able to reach you and let you know about all the goodies that are coming, that may not make it to a blog post. Just give me your email address and we'll go forward from there.
Thank you so much.
